just now at 9 plus while having dinner..
phone rings and i run to answer it.
me: hello?
caller: hello, your aunt around?
me *walks to her room*: eh nope, she's not at home. maybe you try calling her handphone?
caller: i called already, got the busy signal.
me: really huh. ehhhh…
caller: is it she went to watch concert or what?
me: ehhhh i don't know leh. wait lemme ask.
me to my mum: EHHHH WHERE DID AHYI GO?
my mum gives me a strange look.
mum: huh who asking for ahyi, give me the phone i talk to her!
i give my mum a strange look.
me: ah yi's friend lor, i ask her call ahyi's handphone she say cannot get through.
my mum: you dreaming or what!!! she went china already la!
after which my mum takes over the phone call and laughs hysterically with my aunt's friend over my blurness.
well…
and then afterwards,
me: eh, ahyi went china when ah? this evening ah?
mum: huh, you don't know meh, her plane was at 7 plus in the morning!
me: huh really ah, how comei i never see her leave the house!?
mum: cos she went over to (my other aunt) house to sleep last night!
me: huh really ah, how come i don't know??
mum: HALLO you come home at 2am last night, see what see??
hahahaha i find it darn hilarious. shows you how much i'm away from home cos i'm crazily busy.
