so the prof says, enjoy the process of writing. hmmm actually he's right, even if i'm stressed out trying to meet deadline, i still so enjoy the process of writing :)
i guess especially in sociology, it requires you to ponder on social issues that surround, as well as social circumstances that we are exposed to, which shape the way we think about society.
seeing as how much sociologists depend on their own values and experiences as a basis for their study, it is inevitable to think about your own sociological experience.
this realisation hit me just now while i was reading websites after websites. i always knew about the concept of nuclear family, yet it never occurred to me to bring it back to myself. apparently i don't fit in the nuclear family model?
it's 3.30am, i haven't finished the biblography, haven't figured out whether i need in-text citations, have exceeded the limit by about 30%, haven't proofread the essay, haven't refined my english. and worse of all, i haven't read intensively into the logical flow of my arguments. i'm sure there are logical flaws and inconsistency, just got to figure out how to patch them all up.
oh well. to sleep first!
to challenge, to question, to prove.
& all along, its only what I thought.
