for the sake of typing something,
ARGH!
why am i always late to meet people!
why am i always procrastinating!
why do i have butterfingers!
yesterday i had a lovely day with the track 3, aitc, eip interns!
we went to marina barrage to picnic and fly kites :D
food was great, i made an apple pie, sh made deeeelicious potato salad :D:D and oli bought lovely cheesecake and lou bought pandan cake and banana cake! as you can see we all have sweet tooth. pauling made sausages and bought the japanese sweet biscuit which i used to eat as a kid!
i realised it wasn't my first time flying a kite, but anyway the last time i flew someone helped me to get the kite up so it wasn't that much fun.
the feeling of running with the kite, then throwing it in the air and hoping that the wind carries it up, pulling on the string to provide tension, seeing all your string shoot up into the sky until there's no string left and the sight of colourful kites against the backdrop of the sky? perfect :D
the feeling's exhilarating and so carefree. really love that feeling of lightness, as though nothing else matters.
our closure picnic was fantastic, throughly enjoyed spending time with my ex-colleagues! awww. parting is sad :( but i definitely hope we would be friends for much, much longer!
not forgetting mh and oli! the two camera buffs who were the kind camera-women of the day!
a lovely day of joy and laughter :) nothing beats good company!
hopefully, we shall have our kite wishing day the same period next year :)
