i just realised, my CT (or civics tutor) from IJ pae 0811a is gonna leave IJ! so sad lah. he's seriously one of the nicest teachers i have ever met. he's like... mr leow, for you anderson ppl. only much much nicer. he really nice can!. haha my brain half dead, can't think of any other words other than NICE. but in essence, that's the best quality about him as a teacher. okay fine, he's NICE and CARING. seriously ultra nice.
and very funny and LAME too.
i guess if you have known me long enough you would have known i'm quite uncomfortable with strangers, and of course i was very very worried about getting into IJ, albeit for 6 weeks. well, and he really made me feel at ease in ij with all his niceness and caringness. (sorry ah, my grammer and vocab all ran away after promos) i remember thinking at the start of the year, if teachers are all this nice in jc, i'm gonna love jc life. obviously that isn't true (like my current CT/ PD tutor, not being mean, but 29/08 ppl, you'll understand), but oh well it was a good start.
it has been many months since pae, i can't remember much about him either. can't remember whether he's a teaches brilliantly, bur then a teacher's job is much more than just teaching. (hear that, mdm ***!) and on the side of caring for students and teaching life skills, i think he certainly achieved that.
so.. Mr Bryan Lim, THANK YOU! =))
thank you for your niceness, your lame jokes, making chemistry fun,
and.. for calling me jiayun instead of kiawoon. hahaha.
i hope you continue teaching and touching many other's life. *will feel sad i can't see you when i get back to ij next year though.
and, thank you for letting me continue to believe in teachers, that they are not just there to pass on technical knowledge. that they're more than teaching robots XD
sincere thanks,
jiayun :)
p.s. don't even think he'll read this, but oh well.
& all along, its only what I thought.
