okay i know this is really lag.... am gonna blog about class chalet, which was many many days ago.
hahaha so sorry.
and after promos have been fun :) FUN kay. like those escaped prisoners kind of feeling.
okay let's backtrack to thurs.. (get ready for a ultra long post.)
last paper! chem over le. okay it was... erm. frankly i can't remember much, but i remember that i tikam most of my answers, and the exam room 422 was really cold. met jessie and the rest of the class at ohana about class chalet. settled to meet meiyi, jinyi, charmaine and jiahong at yishun at 2pm.
rushed home to pack and stuff. had lunch, chionged to bathe at 1.30. was so sure i was gonna be late. then left house like a siao zar bo and reached bishan station at around 2pm. msged charmaine, and who knows, she's late too. hahaha no wonder we're friends. okay, reached at 2.20, wandered around. so unfamiliar with yishun, was trying to recall where the bus interchange was. (the last time i went there was august last year?) found jiahong at northpoint. waited and complained about waiting.jh says ms lee got whiplash, ouch. take care ms lee! jinyi reached, followed by charmaine. haha charmaine looks like mas selamat! joking lah, she took such a HUGE bag, no wonder got checked by the mrt personnel. waited for the bus. bus 39 i think. the bus came.. and went.. and ou dearest Ms HO MEIYI still haven't came! she FINALLY reached at 2.40. had to wait somemore for the next bus. hahaha poor meiyi, kenna suaned by jiahong like crazy. haha put makeup ah!
got on the bus, it was a good thing the bus went on the expressway, if not i think i would have puked. can't remember much about the bus ride, but i recall the bus stopped outside the seletar camp. i bet the place looks creepy at night. reached pasir ris, some distance from white sands. then walked to white sands. the weather's really really hot. you know the feeling that your feet is burning up? and when your feet's as fleshy as mine, that's no joke okay. the sun's really hot!
went to white sands, met the rest at the food court. ate dessert which was.. radioactive, i tell you. honeydew sago, the honeydew balls were preserved a scary fluorescent green. and ultra sweet! heng i didn't order it on my own, if not i wouldn't have finished it, and i would have felt guilty for those starving kids..
haha then walked to the ntuc downstairs, TEMPTED! okay i miss having four leaves in j8 cos their bread is nice. a long long time ago, something like 10 years ago there was a four leaves in j8, that was before daimaru closed down and the space bought over by ntuc.
okay sidetracked.
so, went back up to the foodcourt and stoned and slept until the rest came back. jiahong went to buy mahjong paper, and there was so much paper, they can play a whole lot of mahjong with it lah!
finally went to like 354 to downtown east. the last time i went was quite awhile ago, maybe since last year before christmas. then now they have the ehub. haha i saw pastamania! and a cadbury ferris wheel, so pretty!
checked in to the chalet.
i think it's quite a dumb idea that except for the 4 tickets per chalet room, you have to pay one dollar for each entry to the chalet area. hello, it's like didn't you already pay for the chalet?
so we went in, and were delighted to find that the two rooms we got are connected. slacked awhile, then watched abit of P.S. I Love You.
the funniest part i remember is this. the main character (forgot her name)'s sister:
"are you single?"
"yes."
"are you gay?"
"no."
"are you working?"
"yes."
*kisses*
girl walks away in disgust.
hahaha it was really funny!
then we watched silk, a horror film. was quite scary, the little boy and her mum. and the part where this young guy was killed while he was eating beef noodles. oh yuck, now i'll never think of beef noodles the same anyway. but ya, i don't eat beef noodles in the first place. the movie was pretty good, i'm suprised it didn't get more publicity, considering that i've never even heard of it.
but i enjoyed the show really much! but freaky lah, of course.
and mr ong brought his baby and wife to chalet! maine's baby. tsk that girl ah, scandalous. PEAdophile. haha. while some of us watched the movie, the rest of them listened to mr ong talk and play with his baby. his baby is really CUTE lor. but, didn't get to see him much cos i was watching movie.. i think his name is seriously funny, ethan is a nice name, but i wonder whether mr ong got try to read his full name before. ETHAN ONG--> ETHANOL
haha i think we're really a science class, so entertained by that..

okay afterwards went out for dinner at the food court. our class is funny, at first we were sitting on one side of the food court, then when we realised the plasma tv on the other side of the food court was showing the channel 8 drama (the one with adrain pang and the very cute baby nicole), we all took our plates and all and moved to the other side. we look like the uncles at coffeeshop during EPL/ world cup season. sit, eat, watch tv. don't believe? here's proof!

then we went back to chalet, played some mahjong, watched them play mahjong, then i msg pinru and zhiwei to wish them all the best for physics (eh i'm not trying to be sarcastic, it's a tradition), then slept for awhile.
woke up. and it's friday..
haha midnight, early morning whatever. 12.00am lah!
night cycling!
haha for those who don't already know, i can't cycle to save my life, unless the bike is those 4 wheels type. so kenneth ng agreed to tandem me. thanks alot k ng! ahaha trishaw uncle! i feel sorry for being so heavy.. am really lousy when it comes to balancing, so kept making the bike off- balance. oops. almost broke his wrist i guess. tsk kiawoon.
the ;ast time i cycled was with my sis last year, and she complained that i was heavy. fatty bom-bom somemore. oh well. that's what sisters are for..
BUT you know something? after you get over the initial feeling of nervousness and thoughts of getting banged by cars while on the bike, the cycling feeling is really very shuang. cos we were cycling at night, it's quite cold already, then when you go very fast (as k ng is prone to do), the wind just hits you in the face and rushes by you. and the scenery is racing by you. the feeling is great! okay if you also ignore the fact that if you suddenly lose control of the bike you're gonna fly! and hit the ground. ouch. really pain! pessimist, i know.
kenneth yee was our navigator, i think he was pretty alright, at least we didn't get lost. heh but he was tandem-ing mingchien, i think the poor guy want to go home. haha kept saying that he's at torture camp, force him to go cycling at night, then no sleep. aiya, who ask michelle sick, never come. if not you'll surely not complain about not sleeping.
oh ya and charmaine was tandem-ing meiyi, the two of them ultra funny! when they start off they'll go "left, right, left, right". totally reminds me of marching. i think i'll laugh until peng if i had to go "left, right, left, right". mmm, i dunno, we just step and start?
i tell you, night cycling CAN KILL. so tiring! i feel tired just sitting on the bike. butt pain can!
we started off fine, cycled from downtown east and followed the park connector to get to changi village. it was fun cos there weren't many cars and the breeze VERY SHUANG. and i learnt that it's actually quite dangerous to ride across a traffic road. oh well haha.
when we reached changi village, we stopped and some of the class went to buy drinks from 7-11. so the rest of us busied ourselves with...

so after that it started to rain. then we took shelter at a nearby changi v. hawker centre there. you know, changi v. is known for those transsexuals. so we saw a couple on the way, and one of them, i tell you. wow. she/he had this plunging neckline, of course we were mostly staring at her cleavage haha. and we were saying she/he "lu ban li" (show half) then mingchien, of all things, said "yi li ban" (one and a half balls). HAHAHA. jh said she/he flashed at mc when he cycled by. totally funny! HAHA, that's what i call a real eye opener.
while waiting for the rain to stop at changi v. hawker centre, a bunch of Indian men walked by. we thought they were gonna create trouble, cos they were drinking and all. but turned out they were very funny. one of the guys intro himself as the starhub tamil channel VJ, and we was talking to us. quite nice lah, he speaks very well. can tell he's trained in speaking.
OH! and they said they saw SOMETHING, or rather, felt SOMETHING. ee so creepy. i didn't feel anything AT ALL. hmm, thought it was quite a friendly atmosphere. ??
weird.
then we continued on. and we stopped along the changi airport runway to watch the planes.
us looking at planes :)then we cycled around this 8km stretch of road outside the runways and let me tell you, it KILLED us. took us almost an hour to just cycle straight on. the road got NOTHING to see. NO planes took off, NO car passed. in fact, we almost couldn't see the rest of the ppl in front. i seriously think i fell asleep on part of that road.
halfway through we were all wondering whether it was gna end le. come on, we can't even see the end of the road. or the start,for that matter. worse still, the rain had made the air appear misty.it was as though we were in a ghost story, where you'll always end up in the same place no matter how fast or how long you walk. EEE...
FINALLY, we reached area G/H of ECP. then had to cycle to area C to reach the macs that area. but doesn't matter, we were already at ecp and happy that we're finally out of that freaky road.

reached bedok jetty, FINALLY saw some humans. what on earth are they doing, fishing at 3 plus anyway..
oh then we cycled to the end of the bedok jetty, then decided to see the sunrose there later. but first, to macs for breakfast.
but then halfway through, arounf the ecp hawker centre, we realised sihui and joan not with us.. so jh and mh went back to look for them. the grp of us stopped. kenneth yee and mc went ahead to macs. sat there and we stoned.
played with this cute cat.. and got bitten by it. ouch. luckily i shook it off before it decided to take my fleshy arm as early breakfast.
went on awhile more.
then k ng ask me want learn cycling anot. so then k ng, mh and charmaine TRIED to teach me. keyword is TRIED. haha i totally can't cycle to save my life. BIG PROBLEM: CANNOT BALANCE. hahaha.. MEIYI, you pro lor. she can cycle! a little bit. haha then no need tandem with charmaine anymore!

haha i think i'll either
1) NEVER ever cycle again. (can walk, run, taxi, bus, roller-blade[not very well], roll, hop, jump, etc etc)
2) wait for ppl to tandem me for the rest of my life. hahaha, which isn't such a bad thing, except that there has to be SOMEONE to tandem me, and i'm always dependent on somebody else. so if that somebody decides to cycle in the path of a truck, and i get run over into a pancake, what can i do..
so i didn't learn much, except that my balance TOTALLY sucks. oh yes,and you should never learn cycling in slippers, cos you're likely to cut your toes. or sprain your ankle. tsk tsk i'm so not made for cycling :(
so then we made our way to macs. then we found out that charmaine's wallet was missing! poor girl, we have no idea where her wallet went too. it's as though it disappeared into thin air.
so we had breakfast at macs, around 4am plus. after breakfast, VERY TIRED. slept a little, then woke up and slept somemore. that's how TIRED we were.
you those when you sleep on the table lying on your arms? then your arms will get numb. and in my case, a very horrible tingly feeling. then arms and feet will turn very cold. it's icky, really. haha but not like it disturbs me from sleeping.
and then, at 5 plus, it had STARTED RAINING. horrible right.. NO SUNRISE :(
was looking forward to it. but oh well, you know me when i'm half awake. no sunrise? no problem. just get right back to sleep.
we felt bad about taking up so much space. so moved outside and slept somemore. and the worse part is, it started FLOODING outside. so one minute i'm awake, looking at the rain, then the next when i woke up, i see leaves floating by and the stench of garbage. yucks! much thanks to minghan the kind soul who picked up my slippers while i was asleep before they floated off to.. who knows where. seriously, they should look into the drainage system there. got problem can!
then we moved into mac cafe. and slept SOMEMORE. like 7 plus already. then about 10 of us just sprawled on the tables sleeping. we were taking up more than half the space AND the only person who ordered was mc.
one of the two cups of coffee mc bought.. [with meiyi's classic hand pose] AND we took up more than half the seats in the establishment. HAHA! ( i wonder why they didn't chase us out..)
8 am ++
then when we really couldn't stay on any longer. cos had to return the bikes and a one way trip takes about 3 hours of non-stop cycling. still drizzling then we went out.
#1 bike seats were wet!
NEVERMIND, we WIPE.
#2 bike seats are spongy and store water!
NEVERMIND, we still SIT.

THEN we cycled. along underpass. -start of a long journey-
passed by taonan school.
then vjc.
then some other schools can't remember the name.
then victoria school. which is, by the way, ULTRA NICE. many many levels.
saw some vjc ppl and were wondering, aren't they supposed to be very chio? (sorry for the stereotype.)

after nth minutes, passed by tj. FINALLY reached civilisation (bedok mrt station)
took wrong turn somemore..
followed the mrt line until tanah merah, where we turned away from the mrt line near expo.
after nth more minutes, passed by ngee ann sec and tp jc. got separated from the rest. then had to follow a bus route (bus 12 i think).
made some wrong turns,
almost crashed into ppl,
cycled dangerously acroos a busy junction but can't be borrowed to get off,
grumbled,
complained,
wished for food
etc etc..
AND you now what? it started raining..
hmm, NICE.
makes cycling so slippery. and dangerous. and so cold for us!
huazhen fell down at the bus stop. cos many many ppl at the bus stop. they must have thought we were a bunch of crazy kids.
continued raining..
after countless more schools (in singapore, you see more schools than 7-11. which is probably a first in the world.), saw E HUB. FINALLY OKAY
i tell you, nuts eh.
then went to return bike.
i think we're all crazy, but it's definitely an experience of a lifetime. i don't think i'll ever find any bunch of ppl so crazy to cycle for this long. but it's FUN :) really enjoyed myself. thank you :)
and hence, the end of our cycling adventure.
then went back to bathe. good thing the guys let us go first. then not so crowded. haha but when they came back we were still bathing.
then SLEEP.
exhausted.
for the rest of the day i dun remember much, cos started to have a slight fever.
