today is september 11.
doesn't this date ring a bell in your head?
7 years ago, on september 11 2008, thousands of Americans were killed when hijacked planes crashed into the World Trade Center in New York.
i hope we'll always remember those who died, and most of all, the horrific consequences that can result when we fail to consider the effects of our actions, letting hate plant roots in our heart.

yesterday, i went to the mph at novena! hah. made me very happy. i was on the way home after seeing a doctor, and i just happened to feel like walking in. okay, i shall let you in on my secret. i love the smell of new books. HAHA! nope it's not the medicine. and nope, i didn't start going into the bookstore and smelling every book i see. it's just like how you'll take a few extra sniffs when you walk by famous amos. haha.
i stayed in mph for about an hour, reading this cross stitch magazine that's really quite interesting(don't laugh!), the novel of the movie stardust [it was a really good movie, i watched it with michelle last year:) ], and a bit of the ending book in the series of unfortunate events.
i want to read the whole of the series of unfortunate events! haha i watche the movie too, with zhiwei and lisa i think. can't really remember. but i like the way the author writes the book! you get the feeling as if the author is actually right in front of you, reading from some musty thick book in front of a fireplace. HAHA! i know, too much imagination. hahaha.
hey, imagination makes your life more interesting okay.
okay the point is that you feel as if the author is reading the story to you, complete with all the dramatics and creepiness. and that makes the book so much more interesting to read!
haha, am thinking of buying the series. yesterday i almost bought one of the books/magazine i read, i can't remember which. i absolutely love reading new books :)
haven't bought a new books for ages. to quote my aunt. "no need keep buying new books, can always go library borrow. always buy buy buy, waste money. then all the books go and put under the bed."
hahaha its very true. those storybooks that i cant squeeze into the shelves i put under my bed. hmm maybe thats why i should not think of buying more books.
but i reallly feel like buying the whole series of unfortunate events books! yes, all 13 of them. if not, no start, no middle, no end how to read?!
okay i think i shall really go and sleep before i continue rambling on and on, if not i'll never stop..
oh ya! last thing. i shall isaiah on tues! haha i was crossing the road outside aj and he was going home. too bad we met in the middle of the road, so can't exactly talk much. oh, and then, the funniest thing is barely a few minutes later, i see annette as i walk into yck station. for those who dunno, the traffic light and the mrt station is about maybe 100, 200M apart? haha i can't believe the two of them didn't see each other.
yup, and it makes me really miss innova. 11A! sadly, 11a isn't as it was. sadly, missing it isn't gonna do much. well, that's just the way it is i guess.
good night all! (okay it's no longer september 11 i realise)
& all along, its only what I thought.
