am watching olympics again! NO, i'm not turning into a tv addict, and i'm NOT watching olympics at 3am in the morning instead of sleeping.

swimming evwnts were good today. michael phelps has won his SEVENTH olympics gold. hmm i feel sad for the sliver medalist, phelps won him by 0.01 second. phelps has 50.58, winning the serbia [haven't heard of the country before] guy at 50.59. i was so sure the serbia guys was gonna win! seriously, the serbia guy was nearer to the finishing line, whatever you call that, then phelps sweeps his arm over the water, touches the timing pad thingy an hundredth of a second before him, and POOF, his olympic gold gone like that.
fine, sliver isn't bad too. to get into the olympics is a feat in itself, moreover into the finals.
the women's swimming was spectacular!rebecca adlington from britain got gold for.. erm i can't remember which stroke, 800m. it's britain's second gold medal in a 100 years or something like that. speaking of which, YEA SINGAPORE'S in TABLE TENNIS FINALS! cool eh. and it's true that sports unites. you should have seen school yesterday, ppl were just crowding the the school canteen watching table tennis. and every little thing happens, every game point, they cheer like mad. so every few mintues you'll hear cheering from the canteen. haha everyone's just sitting around staring at the tv. i've never seen ajcians so excited about anything showing on the school tv before. hmm, maybe cos all they showed was channel news asia last time..
AND, i finally saw the track events! haha dunno i was talking to who that so far, i haven't seen any track events, even though i think one of the first sports competed in the ancient olympics was running.
there was the men's 3000m this morning so i was telling my sis.
me: eh jie, the men's 3000m 8 min plus leh!
sis: huh, every fast meh? 3000m is 3km right.
me: ya. how long you take to run 2.4 (km)?
sis: eh.. what was the timing you said just now?
me: 8 mins plus.
sis: 3km ah! wah that's really fast.
retarded can!
okay off to watch more olympics. and maybe some homework?
& all along, its only what I thought.
