been busy.
spent the last couple of days in a daze. had fever on thurs night. headache on-off since thurs. i think my head's gonna burst soon.
shouldn't have gone to school on fri, but i thought of the pw presentation and i thought i better go since they were using my thumbdrive and the fever wasn't that serious anyway. then mrs toh decided she didn't want to go through the presentation on fri. and i only slept at 2am to work on the presentation a few nights before!
sometimes, everything is just bad timing.
okay, so then i went to see a doctor at the polyclinic cos i felt rather crappy, and guess what? i went straight there after the last lecture (1.15) so i reached there around 1.30, AND the doctors are all on lunch break til 2pm. and i saw the doctor only at after 2.15. oh ya, and they took my temp when i registered, and it was 39 deg C, so they made me wear a mask. everyone avoided me like plague after that. hahaha. so anyway while waiting for the doctor, it was quite uncomfortable cos it was v cold, on account of having fever and all. so in between i spent an uncomfortable 45 mins alternatively snoozing and checking the number so i don't miss my turn.
okay, now my mum's forcing me to drink some chinese thingy. eeeeeeee. it tastes.. okay lah, it's v mild for chinese medicine. at least she put it in the fridge so it tastes better.
sat i went for the flag day. fever half gone but still headache. sat in front of far east plaza collecting and giving out donation cans for SPPA. was with 2 other AJ girls. they were really chatty and friendly. all of us sweated it out under the unforgiving sun. then finally left at almost 8. cos some PRC tkgs girls went to far east SHOPPING CENTRE and got lost.
oh, and i finally did something about my ankle! it hasn't fully recovered since the last sprain. so my mum brought me to a chinese sinseh guy. v young! only 30 plus i think. and the acupuncture-d my ankle!!
i get goosebumps just thinking about it. okay, it wasn't really that painful, but i'll rather not give a blow-by-blow account of the acupuncture thingy. then he tui my ankle. which was quite pain. now my ankle is covered by glorious patches of black and green bruises.
AND to top it off, the swelling hasn't completely subsided, so i guess more acupuncture/ tui na? eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
went with mum and sis to ikea at tampines yesterday. was so worried my ankle will get trampled over with so many ppl milling around. oh! i realised bus 168 can go there! it's only 2 stops from innova, believe it or not. cos the bus travels via SLE, so it doesn't make any stops on the way.
i love going out with my mum and sis! they're great company. we saw so many nice furniture at ikea! make me free like buying everything. i really feel like redecorating my room.. it's kind of hard sharing a room with my sis cos i wake up much earlier than her and sometimes sleep later than her. so i disturb her sleep all the time. well.. space constrains you know. but had a really good time out with my mum and sis. we hardly ever get to go out together nowadays cos my sis mostly goes out with her boyfriend in her free time and i am always struggling to finish homework. quite a pity we cannot go out so often like we used to when we were young. i don't foresee much free days in the june "holidays" either.
hmm. need to start on maths homework! head still feels weird :(
