HAHAHA. i was just reading Evelyn's blog just now, ultra funny! yeah, somebody just kill her with tofu..oh. no. what?? one and a half weeks of holiday is gone?????????........right. *slaps self*. okie, wake up le.haha. should have expected that. time always fly like crazy just when you want it to slow down. and when you can't wait for time to pass, the second needle move slooowly like a snail's marathon.*shakes head*. cham lah, homework not even a quarter done. no no.. ah! i see the papers sprouting legs and chasing after me. what, life-sized somemore?..haha..oh ya, my holiday so far. erm, let's see..last last saturday: class outing! was fun, skated. heh, pinru, i got over the humps at east coast! three cheers for myself! the view of clouds from east coast is really pretty. we saw a rainbow too, must be the second rainbow i saw this year.anyway, fell down so many times, good thing i my butt have alot of fats to cushion my falls. haha.poor yuzhu, fell down during captain's ball. then jieling was trying to cheer her up, so we were singing lots of cheesy songs. phew, it's her left hand that was injured, not her writing hand. if not, she can say bye to her holiday homework. hmm, actually i won't mind not doing my holiday homework. but ya, who wants to fracture their finger just for the sake of not doing their homework. excuse me, i must be out of my mind.ate marshmallows for dinner again, it's plenty of simple sugars, so i wasn't really that hungry. must say, our vice chair is like pro.he actually had lemongrass on hand to break and use as brushes for the margerine. wow. gengan didn't eat much too, but seriously, who eats at barbeques?? anyway, three cheers to our vice chair for organising the event!.
played some lame games. first time i touched soccer ball since i went to secondary school i think. NOW i know why people can break their toes kicking a soccer ball. oww! AND, neverever kick a soccer ball with the front of your feet, it's with the side of your feet, toot! had some lame game of frisbee in the dark, where the objective was just to avoid getting hit by it (for me). come on, purple frisbee in the dark?
saw plenty of stars that night. ah, beautiful sight. took cab home [if you're curious, i sat in the front alright].
my sis came home only fifteen minutes before me. she didn't eat dinner, she was hungry. i didn't eat dinner, i was hungry. my mum didn't bother to cook for herself, she was hungry. so the three of us ended up eating instant noodles together at the dining dinner at 1am in the morning. our early breakfast..
must have been our first time eating together at the dining table in weeks.
last last sunday:didn't do much. went to church in the morning, practised on my saxophone in the afternoon. will so miss my darling after i step down. there's no other tenor except for Izyan, and she has a newer tenor than me. who will keep my darling clean and polished??
i'll miss it even though i always complain about how heavy and bulky it is. my darling has weathered so many scoldings and happy/unhappy times with me.. hmm. maybe i can keep it at home at least til the end of the year? pleease..
or i guess i'll just go back often to keep the saxophone workable.
last last monday- wednesday: band camp. need i say more?
last thursday: finally a rest day, was looking forward to it. planned to watch movie, but it was a good thing i did not, cos my fourth uncle had a heart attack in the morning, in critical condition. so i made my way to TTSH with my mum. many of my relatives were there already, and everybody looked glum. my uncle then got transferred to Mount Elizabeth hospital for a emergency operation. fortunately, the surgeon agreed to come back on the public holiday, if not..
stayed in hospital the whole day til nighttime.
last friday: went to school in the morning, had band prac in the afternoon.
last saturday: went for alumni practice in school after my blood test in the morning. funnily, the sight of the needle poking into my skin doesn't make me feel much different already. my -nth blood test already, and i'm pretty immune to pain, so it was over very fast. went back to Mt. E to visit my uncle.
last sunday: AMBience V!! -showtime-
was feeling pretty exhausted, so ya.. thanks to lingling, lisa, xinru and zhiwei for the two giant sunflowers. sunflowers are so happy looking, one of the flowers i like better. heh, i ended up with four sunflowers and three roses at the end of the day. thanks to evelyn, alicia and viting for the roses :))
a remark though: if you are giving roses to anyone, please remember to remove the thorns at least, or warn the reciever about the thorns. cos it's not nice to poke holes in other's fingers..
monday: went for my eye checkup, the doctor was having plenty of fun shinning lights of various colours into my eye. then the doc dropped some liquid called alcaine into my eye (i checked the bottle for the spelling. it's pronounced alkane). this interesting liquid caused my eye to feel retarded, and it made my tears the colour of highlighter yellow, which is digusting, as you can imagine. there was also this one part where we was trying to touch this instrument to the surface of my eye. we had the longest battle between my right eye and that instrument. i did a pretty good job dodging it and blinking furiously, but of course the doctor won in the end. bully.
went from KK to Mt. E again.
tuesday: had chem with mr leow in the morning. i think i simply missed too much of organic chem already, so was blur for the whole lesson. siling helped with her notes though, so i just anyhow blur my way through.
haha. what a long long long long post. heh. i like the sound of keys clicking as i type, it's sort of comforting.
oh yes, borrowed some nice books at the library today. was happy to find out that the borrowing limit's doubled for the holidays. yeah! more books to read..
dear Father in heaven, please look after my uncle.
love, kia
& all along, its only what I thought.
