haiz. was reading last year's posts. can't believe i wrote so well last year. is like, last year when i write i really wanted to. not just for the sake of writing. nowi feel like i'm writing just because i
have to. last time's posts actually quite interesting to read. now is so blahs.. just sound like every other person's blog.
what has happened to me??
arhh.. one day i must really sit down and wait for that feeling to come. and if it doesn't i'm going to pursue it!! hahaz. easier said than done. anyway, i've decided to be hardworking this holidays. i'm going to do my homework! finally right? i know that's what you are thinkning, dawn.
really. finally. i'm ready. by the way, reminds me of spongebob squarepants. he always says:"i'm ready, i'm ready, i'm ready...."blah blahblah in an ultra optimistic way. now you know why kids are always so happy and excited right? just watch more kids cartoons and you'll see why.
kids are like aw so cute. anyway on sat i was at my mum's graduation (she takes this course in early childhood since the start of my sec 2 year). then 2 of my mum's classmates deposited their kids with us. one's this china boy, 5 and another girl, 8. and i found that i have a way with children. i started talking to the girl, yue ting and good thing she's the chatty type of girl, not like me when i was young. so we chatted and i cajoled and chapeoron[ how is it spelled?] for about 2 hours. tiring? you bet. but it was quite fun. hahaz.
but i know one thing for sure: i can never carry babies. which reminds me. my relatives were supposed to come to my house on sunday even though there was no one at home, cos they have the keys. but they didn't come. and the huge pot of rice that my mum cooked got left at home. oops. that means porridge foor lunch, fried rice for dinner. and probably more porridge and fried rice to come. rice cakes even. hahaz. which further reminds me of last year's "rice" project for home econs. eeeeee. but fortunately i did woth zhiwei. so we had many wacky hours of rice tasting. some disgusting, so not so bad, but mostly is edible-gross lokking. so of course zhiwei
let me try first.
back to the babies things. i have this baby niece, nicole, who's really adorable. and i was looking forward to seeing her. in the end don't have. hahaz. the thing is, every time i attempt to carry her, she starts crying. it's not the noice i'm worried about, since i'm from band, i think i'm more than certified for loud sounds. it's that the adults and everyone else starts looking worried and offering to take her back. okie, i admit it. when i carry her, it looks really uncomfortable. it
looks like i never support her neck, so she looks like she's going to break her neck any moment soon.
not a comforting thought for the mother. but i like the smell of babies. they smell of powder and milk. i wonder what i was like as a baby. hmmm. -thought bubble-
hahaz. anyway gotta sleep le. tml got maths remedial. where me and dawn will pathetically try to catch up when we're talking nineteen to a dozen. how to, you ask? just intensive questioning after the lesson. dawn always ask maths teachers such weird questions. but i agree. some questions are logical ones on every student's mind. heh heh.
okie, sleep.
``good night, sleep tight,
don't let the bed bugs bite!
~sleepy kiaa
& all along, its only what I thought.
